More Than Enough

Wherever He leads, He will always provide; there is simply no other way to live, than to walk in the center of His will for an amazing adventure.

Some of you may know that when it snows in the midwest, well, it snows good. Though we have had a pretty mild winter this year, we had a pretty bad day end Jan. On 25 Jan, Wednesday, when I was driving back after school from Indianapolis to Lafayette, I lost control of our vehicle on the highway, and totalled the vehicle in an accident, hitting 2 other vehicles in the process. Our church in Indiana (White Horse Christian Centre) has been praying Psalms 91 for protection, and He definitely protected me; I only had a small bruise below my left knee.

While JB and I were praying abt the situation, we realized it was time we had a bigger vehicle, esp since we were going to have to start picking up Chinese students over for bible study. We were in agreement, and decided to sow a seed into a ministry for their transportation needs while we believed God for our own.

Our White Horse family believes that we will be walking down "Miracle Street 2012" this year, and JB & I are believing that we will personally experience more miracles in our lives. After an awesome prayer meet one night, I believed that one of the things we would experience was the miracle in the bible where God multiplied food from 5 fishes and 2 loaves of bread, and had 12 basketful of leftovers. Specifically, I felt that the multiplication of "food" would be in terms of "stretching our dollars" and we would leftovers.

True to His word, after the insurance payout for the totalled vehicle, we have a bigger vehicle with about the same number of miles, paid for minor repairs on the new vehicle, renewed the license plate, and still had some change left over!!!

But, the multiplication was not over.

Since last Dec, I have been applying to law firms for a summer internship. As first year law students, one usually don't get paid internship opportunities. Moreover, with the current job market, opportunities are further reduced. But God would use what the enemy meant for evil for our good.

Because of the accident, I got to talk to a Professor that I have not spoken to before - he was walking into class as I was stepping outside to answer a call from the car insurance company. We started emailing over the weekend after the accident, and he asked me for my resume, and offered to send it to his contacts in the law firms.

In the end, I had not just 1, but 2 interviews with top law firms in Indiana, and got offers from both firms the very day I went in for the interviews. I accepted 1 of the offers, and my gross monthly salary from this internship would exceed my last drawn salary in EDB! We definitely have basketful of leftovers from God's multiplication.

God is really showing us that if we continue to walk with Him, and pursue the things that He has put in our hearts, He will always provide.

There will always be MORE THAN ENOUGH.
