Where was I
Haha... I seriously considered blogging a THE END, after totally not blogging for sometime... was overly committed into stuff and finally, have a breather. Am very grateful that God, in His most loving way, reminded me abt priorities and #1 is HIM. In my bz-ness, I must say, I really missed God and no wonder felt drained and burnt out. I believe God missed me too... ah, must never forget to keep soaking in His presence priority, feel energized already.
Emcees for 2 weddings, had 2 dance performances, was sick twice (now tummy still prone to indigestion),
there was night cycling (w/ jia xin fellowship),
met up with parry mates after 5-6 yrs??? (primary school friends... super sad, found out that they are gonna be closing down my primary school coz of poor enrolment... eh, u married ppl reading my blog, give birth to more kids and enroll them to parry... but must hurry!! =)),
had dim sum w/ Germ n QW,
cool dinner gathering @ Arati's,
watched cool dance performances and met dancers from Korea and Japan,
attended a 3-day business financial course for finance idiots (feel much smarter already...),
cancelled my taiwan trip,
got a new hairdo,
visited youths taking their O levels this year,
... think that's abt all the happening stuff....
far from having a restful time last week, all my holidays were jammed packed w/ activities. decided to stop BSF, gonna focus more on my online course, am totally blessed by the course materials, current track is on Prayer and the next is on Unity. Oh, it's official, am in charge of the fellowship ministry in church, praying for divine revelation and guidance. btw, had a full day teacher's retreat last week to plan and strategize for our youth fellowship... absolutely loved the mission statement that we came up with.... we are officially the VCSPP.... "Victorious Christlike Servants, with Purpose and Passion" love it! love it!
btw, was encouraged by a brother who said that he appreciated my "take-charge" attitude... in the midst of the lessons on submission, I have forgotten to give thanks for what God created me uniquely to be, "a chilli-padi" for Him. there are edges that He needs to smoothen, but it certainly is not an overhaul of my entire personality. We already give God tremendous delight by coming to Him just as we are, without pretense, without packaging. We are all fearfully and wonderfully made and by His grace, we will be transformed to reveal a greater measure of Christ's nature through our lives.

indeed gal, not only you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you are made to be unique, designed to be different, whom God has ordained to have a calling that is special to Him, special to His church, special to all. we all have different gifts; but what is the best gift? the best gift is whatever gift we use to minister to others out of God's love, be it through governance of the church, through preaching, teaching, prophecy, prayer, evalgelism, support, helps, and yes, definitely through "taking-charge" and getting things done. Romans 12:6 says we all have different gifts according to the grace given to us. remember u are more than a chili-padi for Him; you are beautiful, intelligent, creative, artistic, capable, dynamic, fluent, charismatic, hardworking, hyperactive, passionate, real, tender-hearted, teachable, intuitive, a loyal friend, always hungry for the word and more of the things of the Lord. when we know that each and every characteristic was carefully designed by God, even the areas which appear to be our faults now, when we behold His good work in creating us, and because of our partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, we take confidence of this, that He who began a good work in us will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:5-6, ASV).
